Mathura U.P, model town Rohtak Haryana sadatpur extension Karawal nagar Delhi, Jaswant Nagar, Bharatpur. a program to create awareness among women for their rights in the slums of outer Delhi near Khonda. A day care center for aged at village Gazipur East Delhi a drug abuse and prevention programs at kalyanpuri in East Delhi to create awareness by organise nukkar meeting. An AIDS awareness program to create awareness & referal services to intal state truck drivers at Haryana-U.P border.Program to create awareness in training about medicinal plants & Indian system of medicine to farmers & local residents. Govt. of Indiato disseminate information on all aspects of consumer protection i.e, legal, administrative, information regarding consumer courts and their procedure, information relating consumer organization in the area , ante poverty programs, various aothority/laboratories in handling issues relating to quality , weight, adulteration etc, is maintaining close interaction with District Civil Supplies organizations, and is developing a data base of the VCOs in the region and consumer related information such as relating to fair price shops, availability of essential commodities etc.DCIC celebrates National Consumer Day on 24 December and International Consumer Rights Day on 15 March of every year on these occation people from all walks of life delivers lectures & performs cultural programs . Organization is running Jan Shikshan Sansthan sponsered by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India to improve the occupational skills and technical knowledge of the neo-literates and the trainees and to raise their efficiency and increase productive ability; to provide academic and technical resource support to zila saksharata samities in taking up vocational and skill development programmes for neo-literates in both urban & rural areas; to serve as nodal continuing education centres and to coordinate, supervise amd monitor 10-15 continuing education centres/nodal centres; to organize training and orientation courses for key Resource Persons, Master Traine
