AchieveMents: Our Society has set up two Physio-therapy Age Care Centers in Mussoorie. One Senior Citizen Day Care Center has been setup to combat isolation, poverty and deprivation of elderly people in Mussoorie.The Society has been organising free Medical and Health Checkup camps to create awareness about the diseases afflicting Senior Citizens and General Public such as Crdio vascullar diseaes, joint pains eyes illments, loss of hearing adds etc. The Society has been organising Yoga Campus for five days and celebrating International Yoga Day after our honlble Prime Minister has got international recognisation to Yoga on 21st June for the Last Two Years. Members of the Society undertake voluntory teaching in Mahatma Yogeswar Sarswati Vidya Mandir and Kendriya Vidyalay LBSNAA. The Society distributes woolen garments, Blankets, Shoes etc to the needy persons including school going childrens in Government Schools. The Society celebrates International Day against Abuse of Elders on 15th June and International Senior Citizens Day on 1st Oct. We provide legal knowledge and assistance to the elders about the rights granted to them under The Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Act and Rules and fight for their rights, dignity and respect granted to them under The Constitution and law of the land.
