Major Activities and Achivements

ASHA a short form of Assam Socio-Economic Health Association is one of the word which means Hope & help the people to live in this earth. Our revolution is to establish the concept of "Live & Help to Live" for the people by the people. ASHA a state level organisation having Registered Office at Barpeta, Head office at Guwahati and one Divisional office at Lakhimpur Dist. ASHA a research based implementing organisation is working for Child, Woman & Poor for their welfare & Development. ASHA has a strong man power, strong network & strong resources in entire state for which the organisation can implemented any type of scheme & Programme. People knows ASHA by its various need based welfare & development activities. ASHA a unique organisation in Health (eye) sector and already treated above 2 lakhs students at 11 nos districts of Assam by the support of Assam Government. ASHA has sucessfully implemented SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAMME as Pilot project and screened above 3lakh students of LP standard under NRHM,Assam. Targeted Intervention Programme for 1000 Female Sex Worker is running at Lakhimpur & Rangia, Kamrup District by the support of Government. 12 nos special school for 600 Child Labour is running at present. Many visitors from different parts of Assam, various state & from aboard and senior officials of State & Central Government has visited our office to know & see the activities.
