AchieveMents: BASANTIKA MEMORIAL EDUCATION SOCIETY is a registered society . The Society is formed on 27TH AUGUST 2007 having its own registered office at Bhadiswar More PO PS Murarai Dist Birbhum West Bengal 731129 has started its operation during the year 2007 The Mission of the Society is to promote, advance and encourage and or aid in helping promoting advancing and encouraging primary secondary and higher education including technical vocational skills and empowering the target group with knowledge and skill across various sectors also physical training training of handicrafts fine art and other useful arts crafts among the public including the establishment and maintenance of shilpa shikshalayas kala kendras and other welfare centres for them The Strategic Objectives of the Society includes establishing various Educational Technical and Vocational Institutions Skill Training Centers etc and operating such institutions centers with desired outcome for the benefit of the target group without any profit motive Income Tax Department has been pleased to issue 80G and 12A Certificate to the Society keeping into notice the charitable activities of the society since its inception Institutes and Training Centers running under the umbrella of Basantika Memorial Education Society Basantika Institute of Engineering & Technology Approved by AICTE and affiliated to WBSCTandVEandSD since year 2009 offering Diploma courses in Civil Electrical Mechanical Computer Science Electronics and Telecommunication and Chemical Engineering in two shifts with gross intake capacity 604 every year including lateral entry students. The Institutes has separate boys and girls hostels Running Vocational Training Centers since year 2010 carried out activities for imparting skills related to employability and entrepreneurship training offering Short Term Skill Training courses in different towns and villages Basanntika College of Education since year 2014 Recognized by ERCNCTE Bhubaneswar and affiliated to WBBPE offering D El Ed Course with 50 intake capacity every year Further the Society has become as a Private Training Provider and awarded by Govt. of West Bengal to operate two govt. ITIs in PPP mode The Institutes are Rampurhat Govt ITI and Maureswar Govt ITI Tripartite Concession Agreement between Govt of WB Basantika Memorial Education Society and NSDC has been made for this purpose Thus today Basantika Memorial Education Society has developed sturdy organizational competencies in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Training with a highly motivated & dedicated team of skilled personnel and ready to accept any challenge in the domain to realize its mission
