AchieveMents: Vision : To establish realistic goals and objectives in the areas of environmentally sustainable approaches and technologies in Rural and Urban development with focus on Water, Sanitation, livelihood and inclusive growth. Mission : To provide Capacity Building to all stakeholders involved in implementation of developmental programme in Rural and Urban areas including assisting Department is implementation of developmental activities. Bhageerath is an independent, autonomous non-government Organization registered at Dharwad as a society under the Karnataka Society Act of 1960 bearing Registration No.189-1999/2000 and functioning since September 1999. The main objectives of this organization is to impart education, provide instructions and training in the sectors of Sustainable Community Development, Water and Sanitation covering Resource Development, Conservation, Community Health, Personal Hygiene, Environment protection and conservation and all associated Technologies. Evaluation studies and 3rd party evaluation of MGNREGA works are also taken up. The core team of Bhageeerath includes professionals such as Engineers, Doctors, Teachers, Sociologists, Communication specialists, Agriculturists etc., and have many associates who join specific project teams as and when required. We have a reasonably successful track record of undertaking several assignments in water and health sectors, capacity building of various stakeholder agencies, and awareness generation in Urban and Rural water supply, Sanitation, MNREGA programs. We have developed key and critical infrastructure capable to design, formulate, communicate and implement assignments within a reasonable time preparation. Today we have offices in Dharwad and Mysore, while project offices are set up for smooth carrying out of local works as per the need and client requirements.
