The projects initiated by Citizens Environment Improvement Society, Noida with the financial support of Adobe Foundation and facilitated by Give to Asia and CAF. The project was aimed to prevent burning of leaves and create awareness among the citizens of Noida against burning of leaves. The project was initiated with interaction with RWAs, Corporate, Schools and Hospitals of Noida for setting up vermi composting facilities, and creating awareness in masses through campaigning/demonstrating.

The project AHSWME was aimed to train and sensitize 1500 school children in proper management of solid waste. The challenge was to make the younger generation in schools aware about the problems arising due to solid waste that existed around us and to educate and train them to manage their waste in a hygienic and scientific manner. The approach was to motivate them to reduce, reuse, recycle and segregate their waste. The awareness and training was imparted through interactions and practicals.
