Dhamkuria Rural & Urban Development Organisation is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, non-government seeking social welfare organisation started its journey towards the cause of multipurpose social welfare in trhe year 1980 and formally got it registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961 in the year 1983-1984 & registered under foregin contribution regulation act 1976 in the year 1999. Since establishment the organisation is tirelessly working for advancement and well being of rural down trodden people of its target area particularily for proverty elevation. Primary and adult education, self employment generation, vocational training and many other is in the field of women and child welfare for upliftment of women and children. youth in rural weaker section particularly those belongs to SC / STs. The organisation has formed sectional youth commities, women committee, village development committee and is exprience in literacy development through non-formal education, early childhood education in association with Govt. and non-govt organisation to reach its targeted grass root destination.
