AchieveMents: Dristi is Namchi based organisation and was established in 1996 and has been working in the field of Health, Environment and Education, Child & Women Rights as a non-profit , non- funding and secular Organisation.It has been Implementing Targetted Intervention Programme on HIV/AIDS among the Transport Workers and Migrant Labours of Namchi,Jorethang for 5 years and presently working on Female Sex Workers of Namchi, Jorethang and Gyalshing. Have worked under RCH Programme as FNGO in South Distrcit since 2001-2003 and presently recognised as MNGO for South District of Namchi. Project Clean Namchi is being implemented since 2004 with the objective of keeping Namchi and its surrounding clean by disposing garbages through collecting users fee. Project Green Namchi was implemented with the objective of keeping Namchi Green. Running 5 Creche Centres since 2007 and Condensed Course of Education for adult women of Jorethang since 2008. Organisation is also running its own primary level school Vidyasagar Educational Institute since 2002. Family Counselling Centre has been established since 2008. We are currently implementing Project CHILDLINE (1098) for children in need of care and protection along with a Short stay Home named Manjusha - a short stay home
