AchieveMents: Selaiyur Lake Eco-Restoration. During the Year 2019-2020 Eco Society India actively worked to restore the 177 acre Selaiyur lake by organizing 37 cleanup and awareness events involving volunteers from IT companies, NSS students, youth groups etc. Removed 11.9 tons of plastic and glass bottles from the lake shore. People have stopped dumping at 13 out of the 15 spots we cleaned.
