FEDCROT an NGO in Madurai district working with promotion of Medicinal plants among the public, schools, colleges in Tamil Nadu organized a MEDICINAL PLANTS BUYER-SELLER meet during 2013-2014 with the help of NMPB. About 150 participants, mostly growers and about 10 buyers, two major siddha and ayurvedha manufacturers, 5 pharmacy owners participated. 4 siddha practitioners and 1 Ayurvedha doctor by invitation working in and around Madurai district participated and grace the occasion.
