AchieveMents: Major Ongoing Projects- 1. FORREST instigated ecological assessment of Mayurashwar Wildlife Sanctuary on a seasonal basis, in collaboration with Maharashra Forest Department,Wildlife Wing, in Jan 2016. This one of the kind field study focuses on assessment of current floral and faunal biodiversity of the sanctuary so as to develop a better conservation plan keeping in view the various environmental and social dynamics of the area. 2. FORREST is working to develop a conservation management plan for Bhamburda Van Vihar, Pune in collaboration with Maharashra Forest Department, R n D wing. 3. FORREST is conducting an ecological assessment comprising of season-wise occurrences and distribution of flora and fauna to develop a conservation management plan of a private area in Kamshet, Pune, Maharashtra. 4. FORREST has undertaken social forestry initiative is Kirti Garden tekri on Sus village road, Pune, in collaboration with the Garden Department of Pune Municipal Corporation. 5. FORREST has completed water audit for Kool Homes Residential Apartment to assess and understand the water inflow, outflow and consumption of water pattern within the society so as to develop measures to bring efficiency in water consumption of the society. 6. FORREST has undertaken Green Audit of R.L.Law College, Belagavi , Karnataka. 7. FORREST has undertaken Green Audit of Ajeenkya D. Y. Patil University, Pune. 8. FORREST is publishing a book on Green Waste Composting.
