AchieveMents: GramodayaRachnatmakVikasSanthan(GRVS)conducted a micro-level experimentation on treadle pumps which has brought about remarkable change in the lives of the poor and marginal farmers. About 1000 treadle pumps were installed in different villages that have irrigated about 300 acre of land and made the lands suitable for Ravi, Jaid and Kharif crops. The experiment became demand driven and stimulated lots of interest in development administration in Deoria, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur and Maharajgunj
