AchieveMents: GCF expands awareness and technical knowhow of Green Chemistry amongst chemical communities to reduce effluent generation at source thereby minimizing chemical industry’s E-factor (Kgs of Waste generated in manufacturing 1 Kg of final product). Reached out 1200+ chemical Industry personnel for proactively engaging them into Green Chemistry deliberations. 100+ Indian Chemical Companies are now actively involved in adopting Green Chemistry based technologies to their conventional chemical manufacturing practices. Pollution Control Boards, Ministry of Environment & Forests, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers; Dept of Science & Technology, Council of Scientific Industrial Research Laboratories are regularly integrated in the deliberation.
