AchieveMents: Respected Sir I, Akramul Hossain, Secretary of Helping Hands, am writing this letter on behalf of our organization that is working to promote socio-economic developments and to promote general education and computer education in Dhubri District of Assam, a state situated in North eastern part of India. Perhaps you are aware of the turmoil continuing in this part of the land due to ethnic clashes, insurgency and massive human right violation by state establishment. Apart from it, Dhubri also faces the wrath of natural disaster and calamity like flood every year. Dhubri is placed among the poorest districts in Assam in terms of infrastructure, transportation & communication, economy, development, health and literacy. Basically social structure reflects it as an agrarian society but now a days young generation has to come out for other professions for some of the reasons like the population pressure on the agricultural sector, rapid urbanization etc. We have experienced that in the absence of proper guidance and motivation to utilize the most fertile period of their life may lead to an apprehension that these frustrated unemployed youths may be misguided by the unsocial elements. Helping Hand provides support and motivates the young generation for some productive and professional courses. We have initiated some computer education programme, in free of cost for some of the students from rural community, which turns successful as some of our students able to obtain reputed positions in government as well as corporate sector. Some others utilized their computer education in business or other livelihood Now many youths, from rural community, minority community and even woman, are interested to join this computer education programme which is totally free of cost. But limited resources have tightened our hands. . We think you may extend your support to us as we have fulfilled the criterion of beneficiary organization as a non profit organization working in this field.
