AchieveMents: Water security and water base livelihood issues have been addressed at village level by upscaling the traditional practices with modern technology and science. Awareness created for water conservation, water harvesting, hygiene and health, water borne diseases and water based socio-economy amongst the village level local bodies, student communities and the security forces. Snow harvesting practices were introduced for sustaining the water sources in the high altitude areas of leh.
