AchieveMents: The JSS has been active in Banda District for last fifteen years. The major achievement being it has successfully established its credibility and gencunily in the targeted group. Banda has always been a remote and under developed district where the girls specially from our targeted class were not even allowed to come out of home, but to this scheme the girls have lapped up in a big way, ninety percent of our beneficiaries being girls. Now they appear to be more confidence of their needs and capabilities. N.P.E.G.E.L.has been providing skill development training to schools and colleges under Basic Shiksha Parishad. Here clear preference has been given to the candidates trained by JSS Banda to impart the training on the basis of their reputation. An information stall (Centre) was organized at Girwan under Bharat Nirman Jan Suchana programme. Similarly an information stall (Centre) was organized at Govt Inter College Srinagar Mahoba in coordination with P.I.P Kanpur. A certificate to the effect of commendable work and the third Prize and a Shield was given to JSS Banda. In the programme for making Sansad Adarsh Gram Katra Kalinjar 100 percent literate, the JSS Banda and Rajya Sansadhan Kendra LKO organized poppet show, wall painting activities, poster and Board display and contributed to it success at Pipramaaf Mahoba and Katra Kalinjar. The Nav Sakshars were distributed Stationery items by JSS Banda & were duly encouraged under directions of Govt of India. For their commendable contribution Shri, Aslam & Smt. Madhu our Prerak were awarded with Shield & Certificate of Merrit by Rajya Sansadhan Kendra & Vaikalpik Shiksha Nideshalay Lucknow. Ammong our Trainees Mrs. Arti Singh Marka Village was provided with a Loan of Rs. 1 Lac by Khadi Gramodyog Board to establish a Unit. Mrs. Usha Khare was helped in securing similar Loan with our efforts to establish a unit. Both of them are reportedly earning to the tune of Rs. 5000/= a growth & regularly paying back their loan. Mr. Kashi Prasad with our efforts secured a loan of Rs. 50,000/= from Allahabad Bank under Pradhan Manti Mudra rin Yojna be also successfully repaying his loan. JSS organized an activity under Prime Minister Swachhata Pakhwada at Saraswati Balika Vidhya Mandir Inter College Ken Path. Essays & debates were organized on the subject Swachha Bharat, Green Bharat and Environment around 20 Students participated. They were duly awarded and refreshment was arranged.
