AchieveMents: • The Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Bhopal-1 is a NGO sponsored by the Government of India, Ministry of HRD, Department of School education & Literacy, New Delhi • It gives vocational training in various trades to illiterate, neo-literates and rudimentary level SC, ST, OBC and General Category beneficiaries in accordance with the Annual Action Plan approved by the Government of India, Ministry of HRD, Department of School Education and Literacy, New Delhi. • Some of the achievements are • Trained more than 20000 beneficiaries so far. • Most of the beneficiaries are self employed • Giving "Akshar Gyan" to illiterate persons. • Organize "Awareness Programme" - On Women Empowerment, Legal Rights of women, child health, women health, environment, financial literacy, HIV Aids etc. • Activity - Implementing Programme of Govt. of India - Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Loan Yojana, Suraksha Bima Yojana, Saakasharata Mission Swachhata Pakawara, programmes also conducted Nav Saaksharata Mulyankan Pariksha at SAGY Village. • The JSS Bhopal-1 has been awarded NLM - UNESCO Award - 2011 for outstanding achievements in the field of skill development. The award consisted of a trophy and a certificate. The award was conferred by Her Excellency the President of India on 8th September 2011
