JBF(INDIA)– a registered trust, working in the field of Animal Welfare for Social Development. The Vision: Help building a prospective society through animal welfare where co-existence of human and animal is symbiotic. The Work Profile: Mobile Veterinary Clinic: v Mobile Cattle Clinic at Delhi & Shahibabad near Ghaziabad, U P. v Mobile Animal Clinic at Guwahati v JBF(INDIA) 24 hour Animal Helpline Pet Care Unit at Guwahati Animal Relief Centre at Guwahati Animal Birth Control Program in collaboration with Guwahati Municipal Corporation Awareness and sensitization programs Training and advocacy program. Services Veterinary Service: v To attend animals in suffering due to trauma caused by accident or abuse and diseases due to pathological or nutritional factors. v 24 hours Animal Helpline in Guwahati & some parts of South Delhi. v Rehabilitation facility for Homeless animals at JBF Animal Relief Centre at Guwahati v OPD for animals in need as JBF Pet Care Unit. v Animal Birth Control Program. v Special animal Health Check-up Drives in different identified places. v Health Check-up & Vaccination camp. Advocacy and sensitization programs to build awareness and educate general mass regarding the need of the animal welfare activities in, present efforts, status and achievements, scope for the general mass to contribute and ways and means to involve in to the animal welfare activities through a series of innovative and time based activities. v Awareness campaign in different places where untold sufferings of animals is highlighted towards bringing in emotional involvement of the people. v Advocate and encourage people to adopt homeless animals specially, dogs & cats thus help people to contribute towards animal welfare activities. v Sensitization campaign on issues of Zoonotic diseases like Rabies and other occupational hazards. v Awareness drives amongst school children by organizing events like drawing competition on theme of animal welfare activities, thematic lecture and similar activities etc. Training and Advisory service: v Conduct training programs and advisory service for the people who want to involve in the animal welfare activities. v Training and advisory services for keeper of animals related to health, behavior or husbandry practice. v Advisory services to individual, non-government, private or government organization and / or agencies related to animal welfare activities.
