Literacy Programme: a) Integrated approach to educate people by nonformalfrom elementary level to Higher Seconadary level has been developed. b) Samity has been associated with West Midnapur Zilla Sakharata Samity as memberGoverning Body and Executive committe member of S.L.M.A as a recognition of its work in the field of adult education c) Samity established its credential in the field of vocational Training, Trysem Training, Training under R.S.V.Y, training under community Polytechnic are conducted in various trades. Dept. of Tech. Edn. & Trg. sanctioned short term trg. on 2 trades i.e Comp. Maintenence & repair, and maintenence of electronics & electrical appliances. d) We are running computer education programme accrediated by WEBEL (A Govt. of WB undertaking) e) we published 15 nos books in Bengali for neoliterate and monthly journal for neoliterate both in Bengali and Santhali. BUILDING CENTRE: a) We are part of Building Centre movement sponsored by HUDCO. we are propagating cost effective building technology amongst people. we are making cost effective building material. SANITATION PROGRAMME : a) We have fully sanitized Jhargram, Sankrail, Jamboni, Gopiballavpur-I & II, Nayagram & Binpur Blocks of Jhargram Subdivision, which is one of the most backward area inhabited by mainly ST, SC and OBC. b) we have started "Water Quality Monitoring Programme" under Rajib Gandhi Drinking Water Mission and producing Iron removal water filter. we have a well equipped water testing Lab financed by UNICEF EDP PROGRAMME: a) we are running a training institute (accrediated by KVIC, Kolkata) to train entrepreneur under PMEGP b) Rural Industry service centre set up at Jamboni in collaboration with KVIC we are associating local youth clubs to motivate them to participate in local development Samity is associated with lok sanskriti and adibasi Sanskriti parisad and I & CA Dept., WB Samity is a associated with State Resource Centre and Ramkrishnoa Lokshiksha Parisahd, Narendrapur
