AchieveMents: To promote cultural activities with special stress and reference to performing arts such as Music Dance Theatre Visual Arts etc To promote the theatre movement in Manipur. To promote research in the field of Manipur Dance Music Drama and for the purpose to established a Library and a Museum. To cooperate with such other similar union as there may be other institution for the furtherance of its subjects and enrichment of Manipur culture as a whole. To set up institutions providing training in the arts of stage craft and production of plays. To promote and organize to undertaking Festival Competition Seminar Workshop and dramatic musical and dance presentation lecture study course publication films and tours consistent with the object of the society. To encourage and assist production of new arts by awarding prizes etc. To enter into agreement with authors and persons for dramatic and other rights of opera plays burlesques ballets pectacular Arts musical and dramatic competitions and other entertainment. To encourage and promote dramatic activities and theatre the open air theatre in its various forms. To promote traditional and nontraditional dance and musical exchange of ideas for National Integration and social Health. To set up information recreational centre and libraries. To organise various awareness generating programme on different issues through culture. To create awareness among the people residing both in rural and urban areas including SC ST and other backward classes for their development programmes rural development sports development welfares of women and children etc. To impart training programmes to individuals and groups in Handloom and Handicrafts Bamboo products Rural Industries Programme Crafts Training Centres, wood Carving etc. To establish the institutions disabled schools ashram schools boarding schools street boys and orphanage home destitute home old aged homes day care centres short-stay homes counselling centres yoga schools research centres welfare of widows etc. To conduct and establish vocational trainings in Wool Knitting Embroidery Tailoring Weaving Spinning Shorthand Typing Computer Mat making and Carpentry. To set up the training production centre of Food Processing Units Cold Storage Chilling Plants other required processing units. To preserve and promote the development activities of Forest and Environment.
