AchieveMents: Kinnara Mela is a Cultural organization established in 1990 at Tumari atiny village in karnataka state. Devoting mainly for theatre activities the organization sratrted with agroup of adult actors performing for children.Later the organization extended its activities with several projects and programmes with the aim of of developing childrens personolity through theatre medium. Following are the major regular activities of the organization. Kinnara Mela Theatre company every year prepare 2 productions and perform 120-150 shows at schools and colleges. Conducts Childrens Theatre workshop at Government schools. Arrages 7 days cultural festival at Tumari. Conduct 20 days culture camp for rural children. Conducts 7 days workshop for school teachers in Theatre in education subjects. 30 days acting workshop for rural youths and other related activities as per the need of the hour. The company has performed its shows at several national festivals including Bharangam and Jashne Bachpan by NSD new delhi. Received several awards like Sandesha award and Karnataka Nataka akademy award.
