AchieveMents: Impact Laadli Foundation PROVIDED skill and vocational education and computer and english training training to SC st and obc and other poor girls and after getting 562 girls married in its self organized more than 7 group marriages, visits them after every 3 months to know about their condition and their well being. The data to our astonishment says that not even a single girl has become the victim of dowry, domestic violence or any molestation. They all are living their married lives happily and with self esteem. We feels that the poor family of the girl feels socially strong and secured by the participation of renowned people in these collective or group marriages and also the boys family had to think twice before taking up any anti social step. And the participation of thousands people in the Mass marriages also spread a massage towards women empowerments which is helping to change the mind set towards girls born in poor family and resulted very positively on a large scale According to Devendra, the families who leave the girl deprived of happiness, Education and trainings in order to save the money for her marriage should invest that amount on her education, skill and other activities; this will empower the girl and enable her to become financially independent and the family will not have to worry about her future. It will improve the level of girl education and subsequently reduce the crimes against women. Devendra says that he wants to ascertain such ideology in society that the people attend to the educational needs of their girl child rather than her marriage and for this he constantly inspires people to let their girl child enjoy her innocent childhood and get proper education. In addition to this, Laadli Foundation is now opening up an institution where the girls will be given computer education, knowledge of English language and communication skills because in the paucity of the same the girls even after matriculation or graduation have to do the meagre jobs and fall prey to harassment and exploitation.
