AchieveMents: HIV /AIDS are the health related current issues which is getting focus of different agencies. Considering its severity and sensitivity it is required to be addresses in responsible manner. Mahila Jagraiti is devoting its efforts not only with the persons affected by HIV/AIDS but also spreading awareness for its precaution and identifying the affected people. Mahila Jagraiti has leveraged the resources available through UP and MP States Aids Control Societies (UPSACS and MPSACS) in both of the states of its interventions i.e. Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Mahila Jagraiti is targeting different groups of the HIV/AIDS patients and high risk groups including Female Sex Workers (FSW), Men Who have Sex with Men (MSM) and Injection Drug Users (IDU). High risk groups are being identified and being made aware and inspired about the safe behaviour for protection from the HIV/AIDS.
