Operational Areas, Major Activiities & Achivements
AchieveMents: Manab Sewa and Vikash Samittee was established in the year 1989. It has been registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 in the year 1993. Its aim is to create a society just by enabling the disadvantage group, to germinate love, fertility and fellow feeling among all the religion to work for the all round development of the society. The main motto of our organisation is Health Education Socio economic and Cultural Development of the Society.
The organization has been working in different socio-economic development sectors in poor and backward areas of Assam. The organisation put more emphasis on three developmental sectors namely Education Health and Income Generation. It has been engaged in different awareness and motivational camps/campaigns in both rural and urban areas and organizing people for having benefits provided from different Govt NonGovt agencies. The organization believes that peace and prosperity can be established only through better organization of people in constructive line.
Education Our organization have been running special schools for child labour under Ministry of Child Labour as well as running educational programme under SSA kamrup District.
Several other vocational training like Cutting Knitting and Toy making and Toy making so that the beneficiaries can take up the trade to earn their livelihood.
Lots of other Awareness Programmes like Mother Child health Awareness Women Right Awareness HIV Awareness have been conducted for making aware of the people of this region. As the inhabitants of these concerned areas are mostly backward.
Sports we have been conducting several sports competitions to develop in this field for the young people of this region
