AchieveMents: Mission for Human Dignity Trust (MHD), a registered Non-government organization (NGO) is working in Bihar since last ten years in the field of education, social service and other issues concerned with human dignity. The organization has set its vision to work for the above said sectors in effective way to uphold the level of mankind. This organization has a team of committed volunteers all over Bihar working for the betterment of society in terms of education and social issues. In the field of education, the organization is working on various projects like Educational guidance & Counseling program, Awareness for government scholarships and financial assistance to the poor students, adult education and other related activities. In the field of social service, the organization is committed to work for the betterment of financially challenged section of society. The program like blanket distribution among poor, vocational training for sewing & knitting, dress designing, readymade garments and embroidery for poor girls of society is running since last many years for their socio-economic development. Apart from it, the health issue and awareness has been an important program for the citizen of our society. In this regard, health and cleanliness is an effective program for their hygienic sense of living. Besides that, drug addiction camp is organized for the drug addicted peoples for convincing them to leave drug showing the harmful and hazardous impact of drug on our health. Such patients are also counseled with experts for their motivation to leave drug.
Agriculture and Women are always in priority for the organization since its establishment. In the field of agriculture, the organization is running programs like farmers training, unity in village youths, awareness regarding horticulture, plantation etc. in which the farmers are trained for effective farming and important tips for agricultural techniques and youths of villages are united and motivated for working for the betterment of society. For women, apart from various vocational training for poor girls, the organization is working for the leadership development among women by organizing women camps in different locations of Bihar in which they are encouraged and motivated for their rights and resolving their issues and ultimately developing leadership among them to take on their issues with proper guidance. Technology transfer program is also an important program of the organization in which farmers are trained with the new technologies and their role in agriculture. Women are also trained regarding the new technological developments and its use for the betterment of women in our society. Disaster management is also an important program in which the youths are encouraged to learn the skill for disaster handling and helping peoples at this moment.
As a whole, the Mission for Human Dignity Trust is working on various issues of society for upholding the dignity of mankind. The organization has vision for working further on various legal problems, agricultural problems, health problems and other areas of social life which is ultimately affecting the basic right of a citizen and their dignity.
