We did not seek grants from Govt in this Financial Year. We worked with donations raised from Promoters. In FY 2012-13 we received a corpus amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- and a donation of Rs. 21,001/-. We commenced conducting women empowerment awareness activities in FY 2012-13. In FY 2013-14 we received a donation of Rs. 2,24,621/-. From January 2014 we initiated actions to prevent Sexual Harassment.

We did not seek granst from Government but worked with funds raised from donations from supporters. In the FY 2015-16, a donation sum of Rs. 81,000/- was raised and we initiated awareness activities through volunteers for PROTECTION OF ENVIRONMENT under RIVER MARCH programme. This project was taken up with the objective of rehabilitating the four rivers in Mumbai called Dahisar, Poisar, Oshiwara and Mithi. This was done in parallel with Women Empowerment activities taken up in the earlier Years.

We continued our awareness activities and also started taking up work for Helping the Aged. The river march awareness programme that we commenced picked up momentum. In October 2017 our organization received 80G certification from the Income Tax Department. However we did not seek grants from the Government but worked with donations raised from supporters. Having completed 6 years the organizations direction became clear and the volunteer base of the organization expanded. Now the organization has become strong enough to take on big social purpose projects. The organizational leadership has become stronger and we started exploring expanding to Hyderabad.

AchieveMents: NeoGandhian is involved in spreading awareness about Prevention of Sexual Harassment of women at workplace, on streets and at home. We have volunteers who are trained to act as members of Internal Complaints Committees of Corporations in accordance with POSH Act of 2013. We have initiated actions to rehabilitate the Rivers in Mumbai ie Dahisar, Oshiwara, Poisar and Mithi. We are involved in conducting an annual event called River March in Mumbai since 2015 with hundreds of focusd volunteers.
