AchieveMents: 1. In 1995 NBCD had organised Disabled Peoples International Conference in Siliguri. 2. The Ex- President of the organization Late Capt. J.K Sengupta (retd.), who was visually impaired, was awarded as a role model by the Govt. of West Bengal. 3. NIVH, Dehradun awarded Late Capt. J.K. Sengupta, the Ex President of NBCD for his achievements in the field of disability. Governor of Uttarkhand Madam Margret Alva presented the award. 4. Presented paper in first World CBR Congress, Agra in 2012.
