NABARDState2019-20203624000NABARD sanctioned formation of twelve farmer’s producer’s organization with three years plan and sanctioned Rs.9.06 lakhs for each FPO. Farmer producer organizations are registered under Companies Act. Awareness meetings were conducted at village level and OUTREACH team collected farmer’s shares amount of Rs.500 each. The OUTREACH team has focused on social mobilization, awareness creation motivating the farmers after conducting a baseline survey.

AchieveMents: OUTREACH is a non-profit organization working in rural drought prone regions of Southern India since 1993, and has touched the lives of marginalised and vulnerable households, in more than 1000 villages in 15 districts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, through 10 Project centres, involving a large number of Community based Organizations, local community resource persons, about 145 grass root NGO partners and about 150 staff. OUTREACH works in diverse development contexts, targeting heterogeneous communities, focussing on rural poor women, small and marginal dry land farmers, tribal communities, children of migrant construction workers and youth.
