AchieveMents: The major activities of Pratishruti Foundation is to propagate and promote Sattriya Dance,the classical dance of Assam through: 1.Dance Festivals 2.Seminars 3.Presenting Lectures-Demonstration of Sattriya Dance 4. Giving opportunities to young dancers 5. Teaching and Choreographing for Young dancers 6.Working on projects with other classical dance forms. The foundation has organised 12 Dance Festivals and many lecture demonstrations. It has organised a Seminar on the Classical Dance traditions of Assam which was well acclaimed all over the country. It has given opportunities to many artistes both old and young from the Sattras and other parts of Assam. It has felicitated the elderly artists for their contribution in the field of art and culture.It has many more projects for the coming years. It will continue to work and dedicate all energies towards propagation and promotion of art and culture.
