AchieveMents: Satyadeep Mahila mandal was established in 1993. The organization has implemented many Social and Educational programmes. Following are some of the programmes undertaken and implemented successfully by the organization. 1.Jal Swaraj Project Worked as a Chairman and Group leader in Jalswaraj project. Organized a workshop on Water as a prime subject. 2.Chidren Welfare SMM runs a creche for children of age up to 6 years. We take efforts to build child’s personality through sanskar, play and value education. 3.Civil Issues The organization registered condemnation of an incidence of Rape and violence against a 6 year old girl in Jalna city. The organization implemented a campaign against violence on girls including a programme called as Daughter not a daughter in Law. 4.Activities for Backward classes The organization successfully implemented Rights of Backward communities campaign in Jalna, Ambad and Ghansavangi. Flag hoisting was done by the hands of a lady from backward community in Jijamata Primary School. 5.Education and Literacy Programme Primary school education for childrens 1st to 7th standard. Savitri Adult education and Training. Children education through Creche. Adult literacy education class, through which 50 ladies were educated, appeared for and passed 4th std examination. 6.Environment programme Organized a workshop conjointly with Samajik Vanikaran department on Plant a tree and Save a Tree. Organized a Vruksh Dindi, A plant rally. Distribution of plants was done and Plantation programmes were organized. 7.Fruit processing Workshop The organization organized a Fruit processing workshop. The ladies of Self help groups participated in Fruit processing workshop of 10 days duration organized by Food and Fruit processing unit of Agriculture department and also in workshop organized by Krishi Vidyan Kendra. 8.Health programmes Family welfare programme by promotion of family planning operations. Pulse polio programme Blood group and Haemoglobin testing. Blood donation Health problems after age of 40 years. 9.Sports Activities The organization undertakes sports activities like Yuvati workshop for self defence, Sports Week, Karate training etc on regular basis. 10.Information and Technology Implemented following programmes for development of Information and technology knowledge The school students appeared for examination of Gandhi Vichar Dharana through MKCL on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti Week celebration. 60 ladies of self help group appeared for pre computer examination to gain primary introduction of computer knowledge. 11.Mahila Parivarik Lokadalat Implemented following programmes for creating awareness about Law in Women. In 2006,Mahila Parivarik Lokadalat was organized. In 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, Law awareness generation camps were organized in 50 villages under guidance of District Court, Jalna, on the guidelines given by Rashtriya Vidhi Sewa Pradhikaran, New Delhi. Participated in Lok Nyayalaya Established a woman and Family counselling centre in 2008. 75 families have been saved from breaking since then. 12.Self Help Groups collectivization The organization, through establishment of 120 Self Help Groups, reached and collectivised 1400 ladies. The self help groups thus formed successfully implemented Internal loan giving SHG-Bank linkages Bank loans Establishment of Small scale Business and employment generation through same. 13.Work for Minority group of people The organization, keeping an aim of bringing the women and children belonging to Minority such as Muslim, Schedule caste, tribes and Christians in the main stream of development, organized and implemented following various programmes since 1997. Training of 6 months certificate course in fashion designing. Training courses in cutting and tailoring, and Embroidary. 14.Panchayat Raj Activities Panchayat Raj course for awareness of duties and responsibilities of Sarpanch and elected members of Grampanchayat was undertaken for lady Sarpanches and elected members in the district. Enabled participation of lady deputy sarpanch in the Sarpanch Parishad held at Delhi. Sobat Shiku Abhiyan, workshop for Elected members of Gram Panchayat and Zilla Parishad of District Jalna were organized by the association. 15.Rural Development Activities Formation of Self help groups of ladies from Rural area. Study Tour organization. Vocational training for self employment. Workshop on Women Empowerment. 16.Urban Development activities Activities including Education, Self Help Group formation, Women empowerment workshop, and Counselling centre were undertaken. 17.Vocational Training Since 1997, the organization runs training courses on regular basis for following trades. Many of the successful trainees thus trained have started their own business. Tailoring Fashion designing Embroidery. 18.Women Empowerment Following activities are undertaken on regular basis for women empowerment. Organization of Mahila Melava twice in year. Celebration of Savitribai Phule and Jijabai Jayanti Week through various innovative programmes. Celebration of World Women’s Day by organizing various programmes in urban as well as rural areas. Personality development camp was organised for women in conjunction with Abhivyakti Sanstha, Nasik. 19.Activities for Youth: Organization works closely with Nehru Yuva Kendra and implements all the programmes with the same. The organization has been felicitated with 2 District level prizes for two years by Nehru Yuva Kendra.
