AchieveMents: 45 Community Leaders and SHG members Capacity Building was done. Among them one SHG tribal woman became the Block Chairperson, One tribal woman became Sarpanch and 3 more as PRI leaders.
Staff regularly visit all households to find their problem and provide health education and awareness on different topics.
Proper distribution of water within the farmer field. Made the Diasil and other villagers to raise check dams for construction.
Promotion and development of Agriculture Productivity is done in all 30 villages with the organic farming and compost pits.
Horticultural Development is done with the cashew plantation and other fruit tree 60000 saplings were raised and distributed.
Provide health services both mobile and clinic based. Treated 27568 patients in the five years by having mobile clinic and 2780 patients were treated in the SHED clinics. In the recent Cholera outbreak Toyaput clinic was one of the base clinics and treated more than 200 patients in that period.
250 biogas plants were erected and 10 masons were given biogas construction trainings. 76 biogas beneficiaries attended users training.
200 smokeless chulla were constructed to avoid heavy deforestation.
Maintenance of hand pumps is done by enabling the villagers to contact the concerned department.
Empowerment of Panchayati raj is done with periodic PRI and Block level meetings at Toyaput SHED campus.
More than 26 trades vocational trainings were organized such as cycle repair, black smithy, sisal fibre products etc and 50% of them are now self employed.
Enabled the community to get government schemes and to the tune of more than 7 crore worth of schemes were introduced in this area.
248 SHGs were promoted, supported in running their groups and enabled them to get necessary linkages.
Women empowerment is done through the 25 different training programmes specially organsied for women.
One Federation of SHGs is active in each project area
All 258 SHGs could linked with banks for several times loan support for their income generation programmes to the tune of Rs. 90,00,000 in total.
130 Grain Seed Banks were promoted to store more than 15000KGs of grain seeds to avoid exploitation from middlemen and they are made self supportive in the cultivation seasons.
All 210 villagers were given awareness on programmes NREGS, peopleââ¬â¢s rights etc.
Land Entitlement moves are made to get people to get land pattas.
Involvement of Youth in the development work is done. The Nehru Youth Association could run a High School, Konapadi Youth Association could run a rice mill and dal processing unit.
At Bogaipadar village sisal fibre product training was done and people could extract fibre and generated employment as per the local resources
More than 120000 nursery seedlings were raised and distributed among the villagers.
Community Based organizations such as Gramya Sanghas, Mahila Mandals, Yubak Sanghas, Village Forest Committees were formed and people were enabled to have their fruitful participation for village development.
More than 900 Antenatal cases and 840 Post natal cases were given support and institutional deliveries at SHED Clinis as well as safe deliveries through trained Dais were provided.
730 Mosquito nets were distributed to the beneficiaries
2200 persons have adopted both temporary and permanent Family Planning methods.
School health programmes were conducted regularly in seventeen schools. More than 150 children were dewormed and 150 cases of scabbies treatment were provided.
Promoted TWO central Herbal garden
Old age care was done at their home level and three cataract surgeries camps were organized by benefiting 55 old persons.
Cultural Activities for effective awareness was organized in each village through Puppetry, Music and Songs in all 210 villages.
Micro plan for village developments was done through PRA method in all 210 villages.
