AchieveMents: The last decade of the 20th century had witnessed number of theatre personalities and activities given by generally SHREE RANGARANGA(R) particularly RANGARANGA so as to retain the reputation of Tumkur, which was booned in our National Theatre by late Nataka Rathna, Dr. Gubbi Veeranna. Veteran Theatre Artist, Well known Director, Designer, Writer and a Very Good organiser Mr.H.M. Rangaiahs interaction with alumni of National School of Drama. New Delhi, such as Late Sri.B.V.Karanth, G.V.Iyer, C.G.Krishnaswamy (CGK), G.V.Shivananda, V.Ramamurthy, C.Basavalingaiah, H. Janardhan (Janni), Gopalakrishna Nairy and many others, has derived a gradual and constant theatre organiser named "SHREE RANGARANGA" as suggested by the above said theatre dignitaries and got in to registered on 2nd January 1987. The same Organisation was Inaugurated by Mr. S. Mallikarjunaiah, the present member of parliament on 25th January 1987. We are the pioneers in the Children theatre Movement in Karnataka, we are specially conducting the State level Children Drama Festivals since from 23 years continuously from 1987 to 2009. Every year for the occasions of the Republic Day celebration. Which will attract the children troupes through out the length and breadth of Karnataka. To this occasions our Organization will invite the Stalwarts. Of course with booster cultural activities in Urban and Rural level the Organisation stood participate in National Level Theatre festival at New Delhi, Mumbai and lucknow (Ooru Bhanga), NSD Festival New Delhi is an unique repute the experiment and innovate aesthetics of theatre and every genre of performing Arts and Culture of the Country. We are also organising National and State Festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Jayanthi with May Day, Karmika Dinacharane, World Theatrical Day and other celebrations. Cultural competitions, Discussions on theatre with stalwarts of theatre movement, recognition of senior personalities in the field of theatre and felicitating them. Workshops on both Art and folk performing Art, Development of a Magazine Ranga Balaga concentrating on the development of the Dramaturgy, Workshops on Stage crafts, Acting, Makeup and also organised Ranga Geethotsva. For this occasions the Organisation We Invite our District Collect-or as we1l as cultural personalities like We have bagged a quite number of awards and prizes to say few of them to your kind notice. Benakana Kere, Doli, vyavasthe has won lot of . appreciation and has secured lot of prizes at Bangalore Yuva Ranga, Udupi Ranga Bhoomi, Mumbai Karnataka Sanga and Lucknow Kannada Sanga respectively. Mr.H.M.Rangaiah, who is the Founder Secretary of the above said Organisation, is an Awardee of Karnataka Nataka Academy and Dr. B.R.Ambedkar.
