AchieveMents: The SKY Hospital and Research Centre Private Limited Imphal is the only full-fledged heart hospital in Manipur with both Interventional Cardiology and Open Heart Surgery (CTVS) facilities. Free services rendered by the Hospital are: 1. Provided free OPD and Echocardiography screening of 387 children below 18 years of age. 2. Conducted Free Cathlab procedures for "Non-operative Closure Hole in the Heart" (CHD) in respect of 21 BPL children (ASD Device Closure: 8; PDA Device Closure: 13). 3. Performed subsidised Cathlab procedures (50% subsidy) for 49 heart patients belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of society and general public. 4. conducted free heart surgeries in respect of 33 heart patients belonging to BPL families. 5. Official partners of National Health Mission in Manipur state for free treatment of congenital Heart Diseases (CHD) of children under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakaram (RBSK) program. 6. Assisted by NEC for procurement of advanced medical devices and equipment for providing state of the art facilities for treatment of heart diseases.
