AchieveMents: Society for Rehabilitation of Mentally Deficient Children started a special school in 1980 as a day care centre for the training & rehabilitation of Mentally Deficient Children. The school offers special education, early intervention, out reach programme, physiotherapy, speech therapy and vocational training. At present 120 students are undergoing training at the School. Stipend is paid to few mentally deficient vocational helpers who had undergone training from the School. Few students have won prize in the State level competitions for Mentally Deficient Children in sports & quiz.
