In Kovur and Indukurpet Mandals, we have formed Farmersâ Clubs with the support of NABARD and with the cooperation of Mandal Agricultural Officers. Our society has organized Climate Change Programme in schools and colleges in Kovur Mandal to make them aware of the losses occurring in the surroundings due to global warming. They were advised to plant and grow trees in their vicinity and follow afforestation methods. The society had distributed 160 plants to them with the help of the Forest Department authorities.
