AchieveMents: Two acres of land has been purchased for running the activities of the trust using own fund. This organization has been initiated with the aim of helping the vulnerable sections of the society especially women, children and the indigenous population. The activities so far implemented by the organization include educational assistance to children belonging to poor families, medical help for rural and tribal people, financial assistance to the widows & elderly population, technical and financial assistance to the farmers, housing grants to the most deserving families and so on. The trust used to provide such assistance ever since its inception and in the last year 22 students belonging to the poor families, 30 critically ill patients and 5 farmers were given financial assistance. In addition house maintenance grant has been provided to four economically weaker families in the last year. With the aim of enabling the poor rural women and men for income generation a stitching unit has been started in Kovilkadavu Periyavayal in Kanthalloor Panchayat in the last year. The unit is presently functioning in a rented building. The expenditure for starting the unit has been arranged by taking a loan of Rs 700000/- from the Agriculture Development Bank (Karsheeka Vikasana Bank) Marayoor.
