AchieveMents: All activities of the Nyas have a Focus exclusively of the tribal Developments. I. Leading to the establishment of the ITITI two major event were organized : (a) Seminar on IT Opportunities In Uttarakhand and Reaching The Unreachable on May 20,2001 at Dehradun (b) Nation Discussion on educational curriculum and Methodology for the Tribal Students on 8th July 2001 at New Delhi. II. A tribal cultural Centre and Auditorium is being set up at the ITITIs campus.The centre is to be a museum showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the tribes from North-East. The centre will also have a database on Indian Tribes. Year round Programmes by tribes, movies on their life and aspirations, books publishing and dissemination of information about them are some of the Centre. III Other activities include tree planting animal husbandry and medicinal plant farming. IV. Currently 165 tribal student from 12 states are pursuing their studies at the institute.
