AchieveMents: The Performers Udaipur is the prominent theatre group of Rajasthan working in the field of theatre from last 28 years. We have organised Gawari theatre workshops, Gawari festival, Padam Shri Devilal Samar Theatre Festival from last Six years, Silver Jubilee theatre festival, theatre competitions and many theatre workshops with children and young theatre lovers. We have participated in many National theatre festivals such as BAHUROOPI-07 at Mysore, Aadharshila theatre festival Allahabad, Nehru Centre theatre festival organised by Nehru centre Mumbai, Bharat Rang Mahotsava organised by N.S.D New Delhi, Nandikar theatre Festival organised by Nandikar Kolkata, Swarn Mahotsava ad Young Directors Theatre Festival organised by Sangeet Natak Academy New Delhi, Multi-Lingual Theatre festival organised by NCZCC and N.S.D New Delhi, other National Theatre Festival organised by Zonal Cultural Centeres ZCC, Om Shiv Puri Smriti theatre festival organised by Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy Jodhpur(Raj.), Vivechana theatre festival organised by Vivechana Jabalpur, Experimental theatre festival organised by WZCC and Jawahar Kala Kendra Jaipur, etc. The main objective of the group is to create the atmosphere of the theatre movement and to educate the people through theatre activities. To fulfill the objectives the group is producing plays in Mewari and Hindi dialect and to appeal the rural masses. The group is working with BHEEL TRIBES of Rajasthan and Urban upcoming dedicated theatre workers.THE PERFORMERS has produced many plays in Traditional Gawari Folk Theatre form of the above mentioned BHEEL TRIBES of Mewar Region of Rajasthan.
