AchieveMents: In the long years of services of the UJFPCS Ltd., Utlou, Manipur, we have overcome some of the major impediments that existed in the developmental process, some of them can be mentioned as illiteracy, ignorance, discrimination and sanitation etc. The UJFPCS Ltd., Utlou, Manipur had been decided to work of the upliftment of the society to bring some form of development especially in rural areas. The UJFPCS Ltd., Utlou, Manipur endeavored for the optimum utilization of local resources as well as for the work of human resource development (HRD). The various programmes and project, which were undertaken, was mainly for human resource development to act as a catalyst so that people can depend of their own in the near future. The UJFPCS Ltd., Utlou, Manipur developed an area of about 0.75ha for the Horticultural demonstration farm. The seed and seedlings on various economically important horticultural crops were to be developed at this farm. Next Step The UJFCPCS Ltd., Utlou, Manipur could accomplish some of aspired goals satisfactorily in the past years. But due to many circumstances and financial disturbance, we could not accomplish all the activities. We do hope that it may grow gradually and systematically. For this purpose we had been chalking out for a successful future endeavour. We are planning for the future with this belief to undertake certain programmes in the next step. The following are some of the programme to be taken up – - Activities as per mandate of KVK under Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. - Development activities of processing and post harvest. - Integrated animal health programme. - Integrated wasteland development programme. - Vocational training on Weaving, Handloom and Handicrafts. - Mushroom Cultivation/Horticulture Development Programme.
